We are currently in search of a New Home Sales Assistant with a background in sales, customer service, or real estate to enhance our nationwide team. In this role, you will play a vital part in facilitating the realization of the American Dream. As the largest privately owned seller of new homes in the country, New Home Star offers you the chance to support the sales team through various responsibilities, including managing the model home, performing administrative tasks, and assisting with marketing efforts. Your contributions will be essential as you serve as a resource for the sales team.

Qualifications

New Home Star is looking for an educated, motivated, and results-driven sales professional to support our sales team. If you meet the following criteria, you may be an excellent fit for this position:

  • Availability Monday through Friday, with some weekends required.
  • A high school diploma is mandatory; some college education is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an administrative or professional capacity is advantageous.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong time management skills are essential.
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize effectively is crucial for success in this role.
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A real estate license is a plus.
  • Background checks will be conducted.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the sales office environment and deliver outstanding customer service to all visitors.
  • Perform general office duties, such as answering phone calls and responding to emails.
  • Welcome office visitors and clients as they arrive.
  • This position is part-time, averaging around 30 hours per week, with hourly compensation.
  • Thrive in a high-traffic customer environment.
  • Establish rapport quickly with each customer.
  • Possess a basic understanding of current technology for reporting and social media.
  • This role requires some weekend work hours.
