Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Interior Designer to join our team at Interior Talent. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading creative collaborative teams dedicated to developing and implementing high-quality designs for residential spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead residential projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
  • Develop and implement high-quality designs for residential spaces, working closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Manage and deliver high-quality deliverables, including programming, FF&E, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
  • Work directly with the Design Director to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in interior design or interior architecture.
  • 7-10 years of experience in high-end residential design, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
  • NCIDQ certification is not required but would be preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of interior architecture and custom home construction, including trim and cabinet detailing.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications.
  • Graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas and produce construction documents.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills with the ability to adapt to frequently changing priorities.
  • Proven ability to project manage an interior design project and lead a team.
