Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the operations of our Energy Center in Lancaster, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively communicating with individuals and groups, implementing business plans, monitoring and managing productivity, maintaining quality and safety standards, addressing concerns, supervising, and developing associates and leaders, and managing daily operations and financial aspects of the energy center maintenance department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing, including customers, suppliers, and associates.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the energy center, ensuring that HVAC systems and refrigeration equipment are functioning properly and efficiently.
  • Implement the business plan for the area of responsibility by effectively communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals.
  • Monitor and manage the productivity of the area by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing refrigeration reports.
  • Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on Logistics and company policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Monitor associate compliance and distribute and maintain procedures and supporting documentation.
  • Identify and address associate, customer, and supplier concerns by actively listening, consulting with others when needed, and making recommendations for corrective action.
  • Supervise and develop associates and leaders in the area of responsibility by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, providing feedback, teaching, supporting, and modeling Logistics and company policies and procedures.
  • Manage the daily operations of the energy center maintenance department by diagnosing problems, developing repair alternatives, and taking action to repair electrical systems, electronics, and other areas of the facility related to refrigeration system assets.
  • Manage financial aspects as assigned and/or in the area of responsibility by monitoring and tracking expenses and capital expenditures compared to budget, monitoring asset utilization, and preparing, reviewing, and analyzing refrigeration reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with HVAC systems and Refrigeration.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the grocery industry.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Solid understanding of logistics and company policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of refrigeration systems and related equipment is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to energy center maintenance operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
