Position Overview
Ryder is actively seeking a Permanent Full-Time Warehouse Automation Maintenance Technician.
Compensation for Warehouse Roles is Weekly
- Hourly Wage: $32.00
- Additional Compensation: $1.50 per hour for second shift assignments
- Work Schedule: Second Shift, Monday - Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, with opportunities for overtime

Requirements
- Vocational or Technical certification in a related field or 3 years of relevant experience (in lieu of certification) required
- Intermediate knowledge of 480 volts and pneumatic equipment required
- Working knowledge of computer-based equipment maintenance and parts inventory systems required
- Demonstrated independent problem-solving skills required
- Ability to use PLC and HMI Programming software, such as Allen Bradley, Ignition, and Wonderware preferred
- Understanding of 24VDC Control systems and sensor technologies required
- Experience with programming and troubleshooting Servo and Stepper motors required
- Ability to troubleshoot and program Bar Code Scanners and Vision Systems, including Cognex, Datalogic, and Keyence required
- Knowledge of warehouse maintenance safety procedures including Lock Out Tag Out, Fall Restraint, and Forklift/MHE Operational Safety required
- Familiarity with operating Material Handling Equipment such as Forklifts and Scissor Lifts required
- Ability to work independently and safely, including at heights
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and complete entries into maintenance software
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems effectively for organization and communication
- Maintain spare parts inventories in accordance with established procedures
- Contribute to the development and improvement of maintenance policies and procedures
- Keep the maintenance area clean and organized, ensuring readiness for facility tours
- Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices (GMPs)
- Establish work schedules that align with operational and preventive maintenance needs
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Actively participate in safety and Lean initiatives, supporting the company culture.
