About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Host to join our team at the Renaissance Newport Beach. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their visit and ensuring a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests as they arrive or move about the restaurant area
  • Monitor the open dining sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables
  • Estimate wait times for guests and monitor the guest waiting list
  • Ensure that the needs of the guests are met while they are waiting
  • Answer the telephone, book reservations, and move tables together to accommodate large parties
  • Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
  • Assist guests who have concerns to guide them to a resolution that leaves them happy
Physical Requirements

This role requires prolonged periods of standing and walking. You must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays and/or bus tubs weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis to support operations.

Compensation

The compensation for this position is $19.00/Hr. - $20.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
