Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership
    • Prioritize the customer experience, model superior customer engagement, and foster a positive work environment.
    • Recruit and select talent, ensure performance expectations are clearly communicated, and provide proper training to execute responsibilities effectively.
    • Engage frequently with team members to gain insight into workload and progress, address any challenges, and course correct as needed.
    • Provide continuous coaching and follow-up to develop team members and manage performance.
    • Identify future leaders and cross-train team members to build individual capabilities and ensure adequate bakery coverage.
  • Business Operations
    • Facilitate the opening and closing of the bakery, including cash-drawer balancing and bank deposits.
    • Manage special-order fulfillment via web and email for individual guests and corporate accounts.
    • Create and communicate weekly sales productivity goals, cake production plans, and team schedules.
    • Ensure Nothing Bundt Cakes product, service, bakery environment, and visual merchandising standards are consistently upheld.
  • Local Marketing
    • Lead proactive community outreach to increase brand visibility in the market and engage in brand-aligned events.
    • Coordinate special event participation with local businesses, schools, and other community organizers.
    • Responsible for sourcing, managing, directing, organizing, and working offsite events.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience managing teams, business operations, and customer experiences in the retail, hospitality, or foodservice industries.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Compensation

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on experience.
