Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Bakery Venue Service Team Member at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and ensuring the highest quality products are available to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, address customer needs in a timely and effective manner, and model suggestive selling techniques.
  • Product Knowledge: Understand venue menus, stay abreast of specials, menu changes, and ensure accurate product information is provided to customers.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor product quality and freshness, ensure proper product rotation, and complete product spoilage and transfer records as needed.
  • Store Operations: Arrive to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed, and ready to work; work all scheduled shifts and attend required trainings and meetings.
  • Teamwork: Work effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly and respectfully with colleagues, and contribute to a positive and inclusive store environment.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand/walk for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday, and work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
  • Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Skills: Good understanding of food production and fundamental cooking techniques, ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness, and strong communication skills.
