We are seeking a skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team at Bay-Arenac Behavioral Health. As a key member of our clinical treatment team, you will provide intensive outreach services to adults with mental illness in Bay and Arenac counties.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct assessments and diagnostic services to identify individual needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Provide crisis intervention, care coordination, and community consultation/education services to support individuals and their families.
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions to promote mental health and well-being.
- Master's degree in social work or a related clinical field, with current Michigan licensure appropriate to degree (LMSW preferred).
- Current substance use disorder credential and experience with substance use disorders, assessment, therapy, and crisis intervention.
- Knowledge of emotional disorders, mental illness, treatment techniques, motivational interviewing, and medications.
- Cultural awareness of the population served and availability of reliable transportation for outreach work.
- Salary range of $55,674 -- $68,736 based on license status.
- Exceptional fringes, including employer-sponsored insurance, pension, and training.
