Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dietitian Support Specialist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente in Honolulu, Hawaii. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring patient menu selections are accurate and timely, while providing excellent customer service to patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

* Obtain patient menu choices through phone orders or in-person visits, verifying compliance with prescribed diet orders and nutritional requirements
* Process patient meal orders efficiently, using established resources and guidelines to ensure accuracy and completeness
* Assist with room service operations, including assembling patient trays, loading carts, and delivering meals to patients
* Communicate effectively with nursing staff, colleagues, and external vendors to resolve issues and address concerns

Essential Qualifications

* 6 months of experience in a nutrition-related field
* High school diploma with post-high school coursework in basic nutrition or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
