About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialty Solutions Engineer to join our Digital Solutions Group at AHEAD. As a key member of our pursuit team, you will be responsible for generating demand across our portfolio of Digital Solutions, including Data & AI, Platform Engineering, and Modern Applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with customers to understand their business challenges and introduce our AHEAD DDP and DSG frameworks to qualify opportunities.
  • Initiate conversations with customers focused on Data & AI, Platform Engineering, and Modern Applications, in collaboration with vendors and our services organization.
  • Identify gaps in client environments, processes, and skills, with the intent to address, educate, and bring teams together to drive client enablement.
  • Explain and educate complex solutions, architectures, and integrations in a clear and articulate manner.
  • Create guiding examples of customer transformation through seminars, workshops, webinars, and direct engagement.
  • Collaborate with team members to discover new opportunities and drive incremental revenue growth through personal campaigns or internal sources.
  • Identify customer business needs and technology readiness, contributing to the development of solutions in collaboration with internal teams, partners, and services.
  • Collaborate with other teams and services to build pipeline, interface with customers, and build relationships via social selling.
  • Apply our sales process to adequately qualify opportunities and identify opportunities to drive consumption and grow business with existing customers.
Technical Expertise
  • Lead conversations and set up events within Microsoft, AWS, Harness, Redhat, Snowflake, and other partners.
  • Initiate conversations with prospective customers/partners at events to expand external networks.
  • Provide analysis of the competitive landscape in supported solution areas, evaluating opportunities and making recommendations on pursuit or withdrawal.
  • Maintain a 101-level competency and certification level in core technology areas across AWS and Microsoft Azure.
Requirements
  • Bachelor-level degree in engineering, IT, data communications, Information Systems, computer science, or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications.
  • Experience with Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and On-Premises Environments.
  • Experience with Modern Data Platforms.
  • Hands-on experience in Automation, Orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines (SCM, Build, Deployment, Code Quality, APM, Monitoring, and Reporting tools).
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience (e.g., scripting Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Rundeck, Shell).
