Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Specialty Solutions Engineer to join our Digital Solutions Group. As a key member of our pursuit team, you will be responsible for generating demand across our portfolio of Digital Solutions Group services. This includes Data & AI, Platform Engineering (Cloud & DevOps), as well as Modern Applications.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with customers to understand their business challenges and introduce our AHEAD DDP and DSG frameworks to qualify opportunities.
  • Initiate conversations with customers focused on Data & AI, Platform Engineering, and Modern Applications in collaboration with vendors and our services organization.
  • Identify gaps in the client environment, process, and skills to address, educate, and bring their teams together to drive client enablement.
  • Explain and educate complex solutions, architectures, and integrations in a clear and articulate manner.
  • Create guiding examples of customer transformation through seminars, workshops, webinars, and direct engagement.
  • Collaborate with team members to discover new opportunities and drive incremental revenue growth through personal campaigns or internal sources.
  • Identify customer business needs and technology readiness, and contribute to the development of solutions in collaboration with internal teams, partners, and services.
  • Articulate the business value of proposed solutions and collaborate with other teams to build pipeline.
  • Proactively engage with Cloud vendors to leverage funding mechanisms available as part of sales campaigns.
  • Build external stakeholders' mapping and collaborate with account teams to identify and engage senior business subject matter decision makers.
  • Implement strategies to accelerate the closing of deals and contribute input on strategies to drive and close prioritized opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor-level degree in engineering, IT, data communications, Information Systems, computer science, or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications.
  • Experience with Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and On-Premises Environments.
  • Experience with Modern Data Platforms.
  • Hands-on experience in Automation, Orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines (SCM, Build, Deployment, Code Quality, APM, Monitoring, and Reporting tools).
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience (e.g., scripting Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Rundeck, Shell).

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong decision-making skills, and ability to make sound judgment decisions.
