The Radiology Department at Akahi Associates, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Radiologist to join our team. As a diagnostic radiologist, you will be responsible for interpreting medical images to aid in the diagnosis of various medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpretation of Diagnostic Images: You will be responsible for interpreting diagnostic images such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs to help diagnose medical conditions.
- Academic Instruction: As an academic radiologist, you will provide instruction to radiology residents and fellows, including lectures and hands-on training.
- Specialized Procedures: You will perform and interpret specialized radiographic studies, including fluoroscopic procedures and ultrasound examinations.
- Medication Management: You will prescribe and dispense medications as required by the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee.
Requirements:
- Degree/Education: A Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited institution.
- Certifications: Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology accredited by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
- Experience: At least one year of experience as a general radiologist within the preceding three years.
