Role Summary and Qualifications

We are looking for a Perinatal Ultrasound Specialist who will provide specialized knowledge to ensure all patients receive high-quality, efficient care. Our team is exceptional, and we are eager to welcome someone who shares our commitment to meaningful patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes fetal ultrasound techniques to assess fetal anomalies.
  • Employs gynecological ultrasound methods for patient evaluations.
  • Adapts to various ultrasound equipment while upholding high sonography standards.
  • Identifies fetal anomalies, including CNS, maxillofacial, cardiothoracic, and more.
  • Conducts ultrasounds on maternal uterus, cervix, and ovaries.
  • Performs complex twin and triplet scans in conjunction with in-office services.
  • Recognizes gynecological anomalies such as fibroids and polyps.
  • Provides preliminary diagnoses of gynecological and fetal disorders.
  • Operates ultrasound machines proficiently.
  • Continues to enhance knowledge of the latest technologies.
  • Maintains ultrasound records, including medical and genetic histories.
  • Prepares patients for various procedures.
  • Fosters professional relationships with staff and other healthcare personnel.
  • Exhibits independent judgment in interpreting assessments of fetal well-being.
  • Alerts physicians to potentially critical conditions.
  • Documents and communicates findings to physicians.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Ultrasound required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification required.
  • RDMS in OB/GYN preferred.
