ICU Specializations:
- Cardiothoracic ICU: Engage in the care of adult and geriatric patients recovering from complex heart and lung surgeries in our specialized 26-bed unit.
- Medical ICU: Work in the largest ICU, managing patients with critical conditions such as severe respiratory failure and sepsis in a 32-bed environment.
- Neuro ICU: Provide care for patients with acute neurological injuries in a focused 20-bed unit, assisting in essential procedures.
- Trauma Neuro ICU: Support patients with traumatic and neurological injuries in our dedicated 10-bed facility.
- Trauma/General Surgery ICU: Care for high-acuity surgical patients and trauma cases in a 22-bed unit, utilizing advanced medical interventions.
- Transplant ICU: Work in a 12-bed critical care setting, caring for patients post-organ transplantation and those with complex medical needs.
- Cardiac ICU: Join a 10-bed unit focused on adult patients with acute cardiac conditions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Work Schedule: Nursing Support roles require flexibility with rotating shifts, including day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts. Expect to work 12-hour shifts, with a combination of 8-hour shifts possible.
Training Program: All new hires will participate in a mandatory paid training program lasting two weeks, combining virtual and in-person sessions. Attendance is essential for the entire duration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with routine patient care and departmental services as directed by nursing staff.
- Perform activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, feeding, and transporting patients.
- Monitor vital signs and assist with basic medical procedures.
- Engage in patient support activities, ensuring a high standard of care.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and report changes in patient status.
