Job Details

The Medical Director, Clinical Sciences is responsible for leading cross-functional study teams to craft novel clinical development strategies for genetic medicines. This includes First in Human (FIH), Phase 2, and Phase 3 clinical trials. The role requires a deep understanding of medical science and the ability to analyze complex data to inform decision-making. Key responsibilities include authoring and reviewing medical and scientific portions of study strategies and clinical study protocols (CSPs), as well as ensuring compliance with FDA, EMEA, ICH, and GCP guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical sciences and experience in a research or academic setting. A minimum of 2-3 years of prior industry experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead cross-functional study teams to craft novel clinical development strategies
• Author and review medical and scientific portions of study strategies and clinical study protocols (CSPs)
• Ensure compliance with FDA, EMEA, ICH, and GCP guidelines
• Analyze complex data to inform decision-making

Requirements:
• M.D. Degree (M.D./Ph.D. Degree preferred)
• Board Certification/Eligibility in a relevant therapeutic area is preferred
• Minimum of 2-3 years of prior industry experience or practice experience, preferably in a research/academic setting
• Experience in analysis of clinical and basic research information from a wide range of topics
