About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team at One Medical. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood and other specimens from patients in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform and assist with extended scope duties, such as non-blood specimen collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs
  • Maintain high standards of in-office care through proper specimen labeling, handling, and processing, inventory upkeep, and tool sterilization
  • Provide best-in-class venipuncture services to patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics
  • Master our technology suite, including Slack, G-suite, Zoom, and our Electronic Medical Record System, 1Life
Requirements
  • At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of a training/externship environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, bilingual applicants encouraged to apply
  • Proficiency in computer technology, including typing, navigating the internet, and using multiple software systems simultaneously
  • Experience working on collaborative, diverse, multi-disciplinary teams, with additional experience with remote teams a plus

This is a full-time role (40 hours/week) with 8-hour shifts generally taking place Monday-Friday between 7:30am-5pm based in our Dadeland office in Miami, FL or our Brickell office in Miami, FL.
