Key Responsibilities:
- Collect high-quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing while adhering to established protocols.
- Provide exceptional patient care, creating a trusting atmosphere and explaining procedures clearly.
- Perform blood collection via venipuncture and capillary technique for patients of all age groups.
- Process specimens safely, accurately, and professionally.
- Enter orders, retrieve and verify patient collection data, and patient special notations using relevant sources.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6 months to 1 year of phlebotomy experience required.
Work Details:
- Monday to Friday, 6:30am-2:30pm, with rotational Saturdays 6:30 am-10:30 am.
- Pay range: $17.20 to $19.79/hr (dependent on education, experience, and healthcare credentials).
