About the role of Senior Tax Consultant

Position Overview:

Stardom Employment Consultants is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Senior Tax Consultant to enhance our vibrant tax division. The successful candidate will possess a robust foundation in tax compliance and strategic planning, coupled with exceptional technical expertise and the capability to juggle multiple projects effectively. This position entails close collaboration with clients and internal teams to provide outstanding tax solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and assess federal, state, and local tax filings for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
  • Perform comprehensive tax research and offer technical assistance on intricate tax matters.
  • Support the development and execution of tax strategies aimed at minimizing tax obligations.
  • Oversee various tax projects, ensuring prompt and precise completion.
  • Draft and evaluate tax provisions along with related financial statement disclosures.
  • Engage with clients to collect essential information and deliver tax planning guidance.
  • Guide and mentor junior staff members, promoting their professional growth.
  • Remain informed about modifications in tax legislation and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Assist with tax examinations and communication with tax authorities.
  • Take part in business development efforts and cultivate strong client relationships.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • CPA or equivalent certification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting or a similar field.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and precision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to manage various priorities and adhere to deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
