Job Title: Lead Infant Teacher Coordinator

Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Infant Teacher Coordinator to join our team at Christina Day Care Inc. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead a team of educators in providing high-quality early childhood education to children aged 3-5.

About Us

Christina Day Care Inc. is a reputable childcare provider contracted by the Department of Education and serves over 50 children in the East New York Community through the Birth to Five grant.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with common core standards
  • Supervise and support a team of infant/toddler teachers to ensure a safe and engaging learning environment
  • Collaborate with parents to promote communication and involvement in their child's education
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that supports the social and emotional development of all children
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and best practices in early childhood education
  • Assist with staff training and professional development
  • Conduct parent and teacher conferences to discuss progress and set goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience working with infants and toddlers
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
