Position Overview

Salary: $15-$20 per hour


OBJECTIVE:
Support the Revenue Cycle Management at PT Plus to maintain financial stability and ensure adherence to compliance protocols while embodying the core values of our organization. Facilitate insurance verification and authorization for rehabilitation services, enhancing the patient journey and accessibility to care at PT Plus facilities.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee, document, and address claim denials
  • Provide weekly updates to the Billing and Collections Manager regarding denial trends and payer challenges
  • Address patient inquiries and collaborate with patients, third-party entities, and team members to rectify billing discrepancies and inaccuracies

Daily tasks include:

  • Responding to denial issues flagged by billing services
  • Collaborating with the Billing and Collections Manager for accounts receivable oversight
  • Working with the Therapy team to resolve claim denials requiring additional documentation
  • Managing incoming requests for patient records and ensuring timely responses

Participate in training with the billing team to understand roles for backup support, which includes but is not limited to:

  • Preparing bank deposits; posting and reconciling insurance, patient, and retail payments
  • Processing daily credit card transactions for authorized patient payments
  • Maintaining monthly patient ledgers
  • Ensuring compliance with contracting and credentialing requirements with payers

Additional duties as assigned.
