Caregiver Scheduling Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Caregiver Scheduling Assistant to join our team at West Bend Ops LLC. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for scheduling staff, managing absences, and ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet the needs of our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the scheduling of care team staff, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing vacancies.
- Record and track absences, tardiness, and missed punches, and secure replacements as needed.
- Communicate effectively with caregivers, management, and residents to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Provide care to residents or pass medication as directed by the Care Team Manager.
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems, both electronic and paper-based.
- Identify and resolve problems efficiently, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Caregiver Med Passer and Caregiver Lead experience preferred.
- Experience in a healthcare environment, with staff scheduling or similar experience a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, and adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to communicate clearly, both written and orally.
