Job Opportunity

VocoVision is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team on a 100% remote basis. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education to students in Oklahoma.

Responsibilities
  • Organize and manage student paperwork, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Schedule meetings between staff and families to foster effective communication.
  • Develop and revise Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Adhere to Oklahoma special education rules and regulations, ensuring compliance and excellence.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support the success of our students.
Requirements
  • OK State Special Education Teacher licensure, with a focus on Severe/Profound Licensure.
  • Minimum of two years of school experience, with a strong background in teaching or special education.
  • Masters degree in teaching or special education, with a focus on special education.
  • Professional/General Liability Insurance, to be obtained upon offer.
  • Proficiency with computers, with the ability to navigate various software and systems.
Compensation and Benefits
  • $35-$40/hour, negotiable based on experience, education, and budget.
  • 1099 contract-based work, eligible for tax write-offs.
  • Paid for direct and indirect services at the same rate.
  • Guaranteed weekly hours, ensuring stability and predictability.
  • Support from a virtual clinical advisory board, providing guidance and expertise.
  • Access to assessments, toolkits, and activities upon hire, to support student success.

Please note that a tech screen is required, which includes a 2-screenshot assessment of internet speed and computer speed, as well as a less than 5-minute screen recording of a Zoom mockup session testing basic tech proficiency skills.
