Nocturnist Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nocturnist Physician to join our team at NYU Langone Health System. As a nocturnist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care to our patients admitted to the general medical wards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct supervision to housestaff who are providing nighttime coverage for patients admitted to the general medical wards.
- Staff resident admissions overnight and assist with rapid responses and all clinical escalation involving patients admitted to the housestaff teams.
- Provide direct patient care to a cohort of patients admitted on the attending-only service.
- Assist with admissions to the non-teach service as needed, supervise allied health professionals, coordinate and distribute patients boarding in the ED to hospitalist teams, and prepare all necessary handoff on patients under their care overnight.
Requirements:
- Medical Degree from an Accredited University
- New York State Medical License
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine
- Excellent bedside manner and communications skills
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills

What We Offer:
- Competitive salary range: $240,000 - $300,000
- 7-on/7-off schedule with additional PTO provided
