Nocturnist Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled Nocturnist to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health.
About the Role:The Nocturnist will be responsible for providing medical management and care to patients in the Medicine Inpatient units, as well as attending to consultations and referrals as needed.
Responsibilities:- Medical management of patients in the Medicine Inpatient units
- Medical management of patients awaiting admission to Medicine Inpatient Units in the Emergency Department and Designated patient hold areas
- Attend to consultations and referrals as needed
- Provide education and training to resident, medical student staff and junior members of the medical team
- Collaboration with facility-wide departments as required
- Participation in hospital-wide performance and quality improvement projects and patient safety initiatives
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Current or pending NYS license
- Active DEA license
- Cultural sensitivity and experience treating a diverse patient population preferred
