At University Partners, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our team. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our residents, prospects, and visitors, while effectively leasing apartments and meeting occupancy goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide excellent customer service and respond to resident inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Effectively lease apartments by conducting tours, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Follow Fair Housing Standards and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct outside marketing activities to promote the community and attract new residents.
- Process applications, verify credit and income information, and conduct background checks.
- Complete lease paperwork and ensure accurate and timely documentation.
- Monitor and maintain the condition of leased apartments, including conducting move-in and move-out inspections.
- Follow up with residents to ensure satisfaction and promote annual renewal campaigns.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; or High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, prospects, and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, with experience in Entrata a plus.
The Leasing Consultant will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with frequent interactions with residents, prospects, and colleagues. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and sales.
