Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate physical therapy needs according to organizational and professional guidelines.
  • Develop treatment plans that reflect an understanding of patients' ages and situations, including discharge plans.
  • Revise treatment plans based on patient progress towards stated goals.
  • Maintain complete, timely, and accurate documentation in accordance with facility and practice guidelines.
  • Orient, train, and mentor therapy and health care students to achieve stated performance expectations.
  • Identify and act upon Performance Improvement opportunities to implement best practices.
  • Complete additional department, organization, or network activities as established by objectives.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this Physiotherapist role, candidates must:

  • Be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Hold a license (and be in good standing) as a physical therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Possess effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Have basic skills in math and computer science.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques for managing the rehabilitation population.
  • Exhibit problem-solving skills for physical therapy evaluation, interpretation, treatment planning, and execution, taking into consideration patients' ages, psychosocial, cultural, and religious backgrounds.
  • Show ability to safely execute all job responsibilities without risking injury to self or patients.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and willingness to learn new software.
  • Maintain a variable work schedule depending on hospital/program needs to provide patient care (evening, holidays, weekends, and travel).
Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with highly developed communications and interpersonal skills, working with diverse populations, are preferred. Experience in prioritizing work, meeting deadlines, and adapting to changing situations is also desirable.
