Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Inpatient Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Nationwide Children's Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients and develop individualized plans of care, utilizing evidence-based practice and clinical expertise.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as necessary, adhering to established guidelines and standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to educate and train new and existing staff members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives, leveraging technology and informatics to optimize healthcare outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and documentation standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Master of Science degree or equivalent provision in a relevant field.
  • Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Ohio.
  • National certification as APRN in the appropriate population foci for the position, or PA.
