We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Pohai Nani, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing quality care and service to seniors in a Christian environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of meals for patients, residents, staff, and visitors, adhering to menu and dietary requirements.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, appearance, taste, temperature, and sanitation.
- Perform washing and cleaning duties to ensure sanitation and cleanliness in cooking and serving areas.
- Label and store food, equipment, and machinery properly.
- Work with internal customers, requiring excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.
- Basic math skills.
- Minimum of six months of applicable experience preferred.
