Job Summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in a hospital setting. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and respiratory services to individuals in need.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care services to patients, including assessment, care planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
  • Conduct respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Requirements
  • Must be a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner.
  • 1-2 years minimum acute care experience.
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle a multi-task environment.
  • Basic PC skills, including Windows NT and computerized respiratory equipment.
