Job Description

Executive Director/ Chief Executive Officer

About the Role

The Asian American Arts Alliance seeks a visionary leader to serve as its next Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer (ED/CEO). This individual will be responsible for leading the organization in its mission to promote and support Asian American arts and culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the organization's mission and goals
  • Lead a team of senior staff and manage a budget of approximately $14.5 million
  • Oversee the management of three facilities and ensure the organization's continued growth and success
  • Represent the organization at local, national, and international levels
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including artists, community leaders, and funders

Requirements

  • Proven track record of leadership and management experience in the arts or non-profit sector
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and communities
  • Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
