The Emergency Room RN is a critical member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As an ER nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, intervening, and stabilizing patients with a variety of trauma and illnesses.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize patient needs in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Louisiana Nursing License in good standing
- Previous clinical nursing experience in ER desired
- BLS certification required within 30 days of hire date
- ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire date
