Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Good Samaritan Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of the Director and/or designee. This includes performing a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties, as well as miscellaneous tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Perform various direct and indirect patient care duties, including administering medications, performing procedures, and providing education to patients and families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A current RN license in the state of employment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
