Zak Designs is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Line Specialist to join our team. As an Assembly Line Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate assembly of products on our production lines.
Key Responsibilities:- Label and palletize products to meet customer specifications
- Perform quality assurance inspections to ensure products meet quality standards
- Annotate piece counts on packing slips and turn in completed paperwork for further processing
- Perform other duties as required, including backup warehouse shipping responsibilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; six to twelve months of related experience and/or training preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and shipping documents
- Ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
- Ability to speak and understand simple sentences
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk, and hear
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and on some occasions lift up to 50 pounds
- Work in a moderate to loud noise environment with regular exposure to moving mechanical parts
