About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Manager of the MICU/IMCU at Frye Regional Medical Center. As a leader in our Critical Care department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, managing a team of nurses, and contributing to the overall success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care and coordinate services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
  • Manage a team of nurses, providing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.
  • Act as a resource to nurses and house supervisors within and across service lines.
  • Integrate evidence-based practice into operations and clinical practice.
  • Participate in service, departmental, and hospital-wide committees to drive quality and improvement.
Requirements
  • Current state RN license and bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Minimum of five years' experience as a Registered Nurse in Critical Care, with at least two years' experience as a Charge Nurse/Supervisor.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient with electronic medical records and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
