We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Manager in the MICU/IMCU department at Frye Regional Medical Center. As a leader in our critical care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, managing staff, and ensuring the highest level of quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient care and coordinate services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
- May provide patient care when necessary.
- Serve as a resource to nurses and house supervisors within and across service lines.
- Create and foster an environment that encourages professional growth.
- Integrate evidence-based practice into operations and clinical practice.
- Actively participate in service, departmental, and hospital-wide committees as assigned.
- Provide coaching and feedback to immediate subordinates.
- Follow progressive disciplinary action process to maintain productivity and performance standards.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current state RN license.
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Minimum of five years' experience as a Registered Nurse in Critical Care.
- Minimum of two years' experience as a Charge Nurse/Supervisor in Critical Care.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
