Austin Industries is seeking an experienced Batch Plant Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our asphalt plants, meeting production goals, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Plant Equipment: Load and unload materials, operate plant controls, and maintain equipment to produce high-quality asphalt products.
  • Communicate with Teams: Collaborate with dispatch, paving crews, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and meet production targets.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Receive and store materials, manage inventory levels, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Ensure Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety procedures, report incidents, and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Perform Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance, perform repairs, and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or industrial sector.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
