Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, motivate, and assign specific responsibilities to team members
  • Monitor team member attendance, productivity, and other performance markers
  • Provide counseling to team members as required
  • Recommend changes in procedures to improve operating efficiency
  • Enforce all company work and safety rules
  • Familiarize yourself with company policies and procedures, including human resources policies
  • Educate direct reports to operate independently and cohesively with other manufacturing departments
  • Ability to produce parts with hand tools or machines to exact specifications

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Must have manufacturing leadership experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to lift 80 pounds and carry up to 80 feet
  • In-depth product knowledge required
  • Familiarity with various hand and power tools
  • Available to work overtime
