Position Summary
The Licensed Pharmacy Fulfillment Technician role does not involve direct patient interaction. This full-time position operates Monday to Friday, with hours varying between 9 AM and 7 PM, and does not require weekend work.
The Fulfillment Technician is responsible for:
- Picking, labeling, packing, and shipping medications and supplies to fulfill patient orders.
- Accurately dispensing products as indicated by the PCC on generated delivery tickets and prescription labels.
- Maintaining pharmacy inventory by checking stock levels and coordinating with the inventory team to ensure that necessary supplies and medications are kept at required levels.
- Ensuring the pharmacy environment is neat, clean, and organized.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Training:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Pharmacy Technician License.
- National Technician Certification (preferred).
- Excellent customer service skills for internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and support colleagues.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks and multitasking.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Essential Job Duties:
- Pick, package, and ship patient orders in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Count products and perform quality checks to ensure accuracy in sorting and filling as per label instructions.
- Prepare packaging containers for all shipped items, ensuring accurate labeling and addressing for each patient, adhering to quality control measures.
- Verify expiration dates and ensure supply accuracy for each business segment, maintaining high standards of accuracy and metrics.
- Ensure proper rotation of stock and verification of lot numbers.
- Assist with various other projects and duties as assigned.
