Job Title: Front Load Driver

At All American Waste, we are committed to providing exceptional service and innovation to our communities and customers. We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Front Load Driver to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Front Load Driver is responsible for safely operating a heavy-duty truck and performing assigned duties on specified routes. This position requires efficient servicing of assigned customers while complying with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate vehicle by Safety Rules, OSHA, DOT requirements, and all local, state, and federal laws.
  • Drive safely and efficiently to complete assigned routes accurately and on time.
  • Perform pre-and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles and document checks utilizing the standard DVIR.
  • Attend and participate in all scheduled training programs, briefings, and meetings as the Company requires.
  • Notify the Route manager or Dispatch of any incidents, accidents injuries, or property damage as well as service interruptions.
  • Identify and report all containers in need of repair or replacement.
  • Ensure the number of containers on the route reconciles to the service level listed on the service list.
  • Completely dump all containers and leave the customer's location clean and debris-free.
  • Complete and submit customer tickets as required when excessive yardage must be removed.
  • Position and return containers on the customer's property in a manner that ensures lids are properly replaced, enclosure doors are closed and secured, and containers do not block driveway entrances or traffic.
  • Follow route assignments as directed and complete end-of-day documentation and check-out process.
  • Perform all duties scheduled by the Route Manager or Dispatch and assist other drivers as directed to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Adapt to changing duties, as required, based on business needs.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of previous experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or equivalent military driving within the last 7 years.
  • Commercial Driver's License A/B (CDL) with an air brake endorsement.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Acceptable driving record.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Complete a pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check, which includes a previous employment check, criminal history, and motor vehicle record review.
  • Gritty, outgoing, and eager to learn.
