Responsibilities:

Insight Global is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to fulfill various responsibilities throughout the academic year. The selected candidate will be expected to:

  • Effectively communicate with students, parents, educational administrators, and supervisory personnel through both oral and written channels.
  • Provide guidance to school staff and families regarding speech-language development and its relevance to the educational curriculum.
  • Engage in collaborative school-based teams addressing the needs of students with speech-language challenges.
  • Exhibit proficiency in utilizing both formal and informal assessment tools.
  • Identify students who are suitable for speech and language services based on their individual requirements and established guidelines.
  • Prepare clear and concise oral and written reports, adhering to recommended formats and timelines (such as assessment reports and progress updates).
  • Formulate and execute appropriate objectives for IEPs, IFSPs, and Service Plans that align with students' documented needs.
  • Apply evidence-based intervention strategies, differentiated instructional methods, and assistive technology to accommodate diverse student needs and learning preferences.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of speech-language services and therapy logs, ensuring relevant data is documented to track student progress.
  • Accurately complete Third Party billing within the required timelines.
  • Engage in continuous professional development related to the field of speech-language pathology.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
