Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team at Workbox Staffing in Brighton, MI. As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing components using high nickel alloys. Your expertise in welding techniques and procedures will be essential in meeting strict quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform TIG welding on high nickel alloys to ensure precision and quality.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
  • Set up welding machines and equipment according to project needs.
  • Conduct tests and inspections to ensure weld quality and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve welding issues.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a TIG Welder, specifically with high nickel alloys.
  • Strong understanding of welding techniques and metallurgy.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Certification in TIG welding (AWS or equivalent) is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with welding safety standards and procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
