Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team at Workbox Staffing. As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing components using high nickel alloys. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding techniques and procedures, particularly in high-stress environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • TIG Welding: Perform high-quality TIG welding on high nickel alloys, ensuring precision and quality.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and repair.
  • Equipment Setup: Set up welding machines and equipment according to project requirements.
  • Quality Control: Conduct tests and inspections to ensure weld quality and compliance with industry standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve welding issues.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience as a TIG Welder, specifically with high nickel alloys (e.g., Inconel, Monel).
  • Welding Techniques: Strong understanding of welding techniques and metallurgy.
  • Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Certification: Certification in TIG welding (AWS or equivalent) is preferred but not required.
  • Welding Safety: Familiarity with welding safety standards and procedures.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
