Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder II/III to join our team at Eberspaecher. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for reworking pre-welded assemblies from robotic stations and repairing surface defects in exhaust systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine parts to determine the extent of defects and plan repair procedures.
  • Fill holes and gaps in defective parts using MIG welding techniques.
  • Weld sub-assemblies and final assemblies to meet specifications.
  • Smooth welded or defected areas using TIG welding techniques as required.
  • Document all non-conformances and obtain operator sign-off for 100% rework.
  • Place reworked parts on in-process racks for leak testing.
  • Operate robotic weld cells, gauges, and leak testers to ensure quality.
  • May assemble and weld complete exhaust systems using component parts supplied.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum six months of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Pass standard global re-certification tests as required.
  • Qualify on GMAW (MIG/MAG) and GTAW (TIG) processes.
