Job Title: Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist to join our team at Military Resale Solutions. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for processing accounts payable and receivable transactions, communicating with business partners and external parties, and reconciling transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Communicate with business partners and external parties on status inquiries and other invoice-related questions.
  • Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data, verifying the mathematical accuracy of all data.
  • Prepare information and supporting documentation with increasing complexity.
  • Perform self-review and peer review for various tasks in the company.
  • Drive process improvement and develop efficiencies that impact the function.
  • Monitor, review, and verify accounting records and transactions for accuracy, timeliness, and adequacy of supporting documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and agency rules and regulations.
  • Analyze reports for accuracy prior to distribution.
  • Examine and evaluate internal methods and procedures for adequacy of controls.

Qualifications:

  • Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • 1-2 years' experience in accounts payable and receivable, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum based on location and experience. Salary may vary depending on qualifications and performance.
