In this role, you will serve as a vital advocate for WWP Alumni and their families, focusing on benefits appeals with the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and draft decisions for evaluation by a Veterans Law Judge (VLJ).
  • Oversee appeals dockets and create comprehensive appellate briefs.
  • Conduct in-depth research and assist WWP's policy and governmental affairs team.

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Thorough understanding of Veterans benefits laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and research capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
