In this role, you will serve as a vital advocate for WWP Alumni and their families, focusing on benefits appeals with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and draft decisions for evaluation by a Veterans Law Judge (VLJ).
- Oversee appeals dockets and create comprehensive appellate briefs.
- Conduct in-depth research and assist WWP's policy and governmental affairs team.
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Thorough understanding of Veterans benefits laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and research capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional Experience:
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years of experience as an advocate for veteran's benefits.
