The Opportunity

This role is part of our Cardiac Rhythm Technologies team, where we're dedicated to advancing treatments for people with cardiovascular disease. As a Technical Services Engineer I, you'll play a critical role in providing clinical and technical support to our customers, helping them to get the most out of our medical devices.

You'll work closely with our sales team, providing product training and support to ensure that our customers have the knowledge and skills they need to use our devices effectively. You'll also be responsible for reviewing product manuals and communiques to ensure that they're accurate and up-to-date.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical or clinical information to customers in response to inquiries or reports from the field.
  • Perform product evaluations and testing based on reports from the field.
  • Provide clinical and technical support services, including product training and troubleshooting.
  • Assist in the presentation of educational material for new product training and in-service seminars to physicians, nurses, and sales representatives.
  • Review product manuals, communiques, and memorandum for technical clinical accuracy and content.
  • Document all contacts via an approved tracking system, writing Field Contact Reports for complaints per SMF guidelines.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0-2+ years of experience in Customer/Technical Support or Call Center environment.
  • Providing medical device industry technical support, including relevant experience in the cardiac pacing industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and evaluate technologically complex devices; demonstrated written and verbal communication, interpersonal, facilitation, presentation, quantitative, analytical, organizational, and follow-up skills.
