Job Title: End User Computing Engineer I

Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) is seeking a highly skilled End User Computing Engineer I to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in supporting the technical needs of our complex healthcare organization.

Job Summary:

The End User Computing Engineer I will be responsible for ensuring that end-user computing devices and software management platforms are operating efficiently and effectively. This includes providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting issues with hardware and software, and configuring and deploying new devices and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with hardware and software
  • Configure and deploy new devices and applications, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems
  • Manage software updates, patching, and evaluations of new technologies and systems
  • Oversee the work of other end-user computing team members, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services
  • Collaborate with other IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in technical support, systems administration, or related roles
  • Working knowledge of a variety of operating systems, including Windows and MacOS
  • Familiarity with software management platforms, such as SCCM, JAMF, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Autopilot, and Intune
  • Knowledge of cloud computing technologies, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
  • Basic understanding of security best practices and experience working with antivirus software
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications in Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft 365 Certified, MCSE, MCSA, MCITP, A+, VMware Digital Workspace, or ITIL v3 Foundations
