This Business Lead is tasked with steering cross-functional teams in the pharmacy product domain to uncover product prospects in innovative and intricate emerging markets. This involves collaboration with sales and account management, internal departments, and select resources during the incubation, ideation, and presentation phases of product concepts. The role encompasses analysis, presentation, decision-making, and the swift launch of 'business service' products for targeted clients. You will guide the rapid product development process from conception to market introduction for new pharmacy offerings. Collaboration across various product teams is essential to ensure that new offerings are well-defined and that HCSC leadership is equipped with the necessary insights (such as proformas, financial assessments, internal capability evaluations, etc.) to make informed decisions regarding product launches.
**This position is not focused on technical product delivery.**
Essential Job Qualifications (minimum requirements):
*Bachelor's degree in Business or Health Administration and 6 years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, pharmacy, or strategic consulting OR 11 years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, pharmacy, or strategic consulting.
* Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and guiding team members.
* Background in managed care/pharmacy product development, benefits consulting, or project management.
* Experience in engaging with corporate leadership and communicating effectively at all organizational levels.
* Ability to manage multiple complex priorities and a demanding workload.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
* Robust project management skills related to product portfolios, product ideation experience, rapid product development, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in the health insurance, healthcare, or pharmacy sectors.
* Previous accountability for managing a product or product line, including the development of 'SERVICE' products from inception to launch, along with product introduction and performance monitoring to assess market viability.
Experience in developing and presenting to both internal and external stakeholders.
This hybrid role requires three days of in-office work.
