Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive electrical design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Oversee project execution, including reviewing submissions, conducting site observations, and managing punch lists.
  • Collaborate effectively with mechanical, civil, and structural engineers, as well as project architects.
  • Create electrical design drawings utilizing Revit and AutoCAD software.
  • Conduct lighting calculations and perform arc flash assessments.
  • Execute field investigations to accurately document existing site conditions.

Qualifications
  • Experience in building system design with a focus on power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security systems, and telecommunications.
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word).
  • Familiarity with electrical modeling tools such as AGi32 for lighting and SKM for power analysis.
  • Knowledge of Arc-Flash Evaluation methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in building systems projects.
  • Strong writing, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Progress towards obtaining a New York PE license is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $105,000, influenced by various factors including relevant experience and education.
