Auditory Assessment Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. This is a part-time, in-person position that requires reviewing and assessing 3-6 Veterans per day, on average.
Schedule and Work Environment:
This role offers a regular schedule with no evenings, no on-call duties, no weekends, and no hearing aid sales. Each patient appointment lasts between 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct medical assessments using the Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test.
- Complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the computer portal.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- An Au.D from an ASHA Accredited school.
- A current license as an Audiologist.
- Meets the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, along with malpractice insurance covered by MRG Exams. Health insurance options and ASHA Learning Pass membership (CEU) are also available.
